Getting to Know Your Generator

Although each generator is individually handcrafted, every machine contains the same core components.

High Frequency Generator

This is the heart of the machine.

It converts incoming mains electricity into high-frequency electrical energy that is used to create plasma inside the bulbs.

Spark Gap Assembly

The spark gap rapidly switches the electrical energy using two adjustable zinc rods.

This rapid switching action produces the high-frequency oscillations that are characteristic of traditional Tesla-inspired plasma generators.

The clear protective cover allows you to safely observe the spark while protecting the internal components.

Zinc Rods

The spark gap uses adjustable solid zinc rods.

These rods can be inspected, cleaned and replaced when required as part of normal maintenance.

Cooling Fans

Two cooling fans provide continuous airflow through the generator.

Always ensure the ventilation openings remain clear during operation.

Plasma Bulbs

The plasma bulbs contain a carefully prepared low-pressure gas.

When high-frequency electrical energy reaches the bulbs, the gas becomes ionised and produces beautiful visible plasma.

Before You Begin

Before using your generator for the first time, please complete the following simple checks.

✔ Place the generator on a flat, stable surface.

✔ Ensure the cooling fan vents remain unobstructed.

✔ Check that the spark gap cover is securely fitted.

✔ Keep the generator away from water and damp environments.

✔ Keep sensitive electronic equipment away from the generator.

Once these checks have been completed, you’re ready to install the plasma bulbs.

Installing the Plasma Bulbs

Installing the bulbs only takes a few moments.

Step 1

Locate the two plasma bulb sockets on the front of the generator.

Step 2

Carefully insert each bulb into its socket.

Step 3

Gently screw each bulb into position until finger tight.

Do not overtighten.

Step 4

Check both bulbs are secure before switching the generator on.

Your generator is now ready for use.

Your First Plasma Session

When using your generator for the first time, it is always best to begin with shorter sessions.

This allows you to become familiar with the operation of the generator while enjoying the relaxing experience of using high frequency plasma.

Many owners choose to sit comfortably in a quiet environment while holding one plasma bulb in each hand.

Some enjoy listening to relaxing music, reading or meditating during their session.

Recommended Session Times

I recommend gradually increasing your session length over your first week.

Day One

15 minutes

Day Two

15 minutes

Day Three

20 minutes

Day Four

20 minutes

Day Five

25 minutes

Day Six

25 minutes

Day Seven onwards

Up to 30 minutes per session.

Many owners find one session each day perfectly adequate.

How to Hold the Plasma Bulbs

For normal operation, hold one plasma bulb comfortably in each hand.

Relax your shoulders and allow your hands to rest naturally.

Avoid gripping the bulbs tightly.

Simply hold them comfortably throughout the session.

Many owners enjoy sitting in a comfortable chair while using the generator.

Choose a calm environment where you can relax without interruption.

Looking After Your Generator

Like any quality piece of equipment, your plasma generator benefits from occasional routine maintenance.

Fortunately, very little maintenance is required.

I recommend:

✔ Keeping the exterior clean.

✔ Keeping the ventilation openings free from dust.

✔ Occasionally inspecting the spark gap.

✔ Cleaning the zinc rods when necessary.

✔ Storing the generator indoors in a dry environment.

Spark Gap Maintenance

Over time, repeated electrical discharges naturally create small oxide deposits on the zinc rods.

This is completely normal.

Occasionally cleaning the rods helps maintain consistent operation.

Cleaning takes only a few minutes.

  1. Unplug the generator.
  2. Remove the four screws securing the clear spark gap cover.
  3. Carefully clean between the zinc rods using a 0.40 mm feeler gauge.
  4. Replace the clear cover.
  5. Tighten the four screws.
  6. Your generator is ready for use again.

Important Safety Information

For your safety, please read the following carefully.

Do Not Use This Generator If:

  • You are pregnant.
  • You have a pacemaker fitted.
  • You have an implanted electronic medical device.
  • You have been advised by your healthcare professional not to use electrical equipment of this type.

Keep Away From Sensitive Electronics

High-frequency electrical fields may interfere with nearby electronic equipment.

Please keep the generator well away from:

  • Televisions
  • Desktop computers
  • Laptop computers
  • Tablets
  • Mobile phones when practical
  • External hard drives
  • Wi-Fi routers

  • Never cover the cooling fans.
  • Always unplug the generator before carrying out maintenance.
  • Do not attempt to modify the electrical components.
  • Keep out of reach of unsupervised children.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do the plasma bulbs glow?

The bulbs contain a low-pressure gas that becomes ionised by high-frequency electrical energy.

Why can I hear a buzzing sound?

The sound comes from the spark gap as electrical discharges rapidly occur between the zinc rods.

This is a normal part of operation.

How often should I clean the spark gap?

Cleaning frequency depends on usage.

Regular visual inspection will indicate when cleaning is required.

How long should I use the generator?

I recommend gradually increasing your sessions until you reach approximately 30 minutes.

Can I use the generator every day?

Many owners choose to use the generator daily as part of their personal wellness routine.
